“If It’s Broke, Fix It”.
“Remember Repair is a Radical Act”
We run a small range of businesses that range from Re-Making salvaged items that have been remade to vintage items that can still be used in your house either as decorative displays or a functional items. Effectively our motto here is a copy of the wonderful, well known quote by William Morris (one of the primary founders of the Arts & Crafts movement)
“Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.”
Our motto therefore can be viewed as
“Don’t ever buy new by re-defining old things try and ……
Re-Make, Re-Purpose them or sell to to someone who will appreciate them”.
The whole concept of this project is to show how, dis-used, or vintage/antique items can be redefined into desirable items for you house or for use in everyday living. The idea is that if we reuse old items in to useful or beautiful objects we can start to reduce the overconsumptions.

While our main aim is to create useful and beautiful items from old dis-used, broken items, the is also an additional aim. That being to create a change in habits. This is the reason our founder decided to use his small home in to a place where people can be inspired to make changes not through buying the odd re-made items but encouraging people to make in a change to how they purchase things across the board, in how they live.
