Garden Farming in Urban Areas
In many cities, we have small plots all over the place small plots could be set aside for the community to garden as they see fit. To create better community cohesion and engagement development projects could set up. Not only that these spaces create attractive spaces as well as other assoicated projects. They would become something that would benefit everyone in the local community.
Then there is also people own gardens, where they could be encouraged to grow, for themsleves or may be part of an large Urban farm, just that it is made up of smallholdings. These small holding would be sustainable as the food they produce could be sold locally. In addition to providing local produce, they help clean the air from pollutants and absorb carbon emissions.
