Learning in a Cognitive Creative Way
The research that comes out of this is all part of our founders Phd in Cognitive Creative Thinking. This whole project started not as a need to make people more aware of our climate and biodiversity issues but actually as an investigation into how people think and learn. The research into this has taken over ten years. It has grown and developed over time. It only really becaome real once the idea of how do we solve our climate issues can to the fore and research that has been done on exactly what the issues are.
Once you start to understand what the actual issues really are (spoiler alert – the solution is not about net zero on its own, that is just a symptom. The solution is human overconsumption that has been create by human beings. Yet there is no mention of this in any media at all). If we don’t know what the real issues are, then how in hell are we going to take action. If you have read this manifesto and understand that over-consumption is a serious issue for the world. Who is going to invent the technology and create the business for this green sustainable revolution? Universities? Forget about it! Government? Forget about it!
It will be entrepreneurs, and they’re doing it now but who are these entrepreneurs going to be. They have to be made up from all of us but we all need to learn to work together, be able to take constructive critism but at the same time be allowed to learn to think for ourselves. The bump in the road is that our modern education system does not do this. It is way to much left brain data and knowledge collection.
What has this got to do with solving our climate issues and creating Green Circular living and Businesses
Before you delve deep into this part of our business. Let us ask you a question. How much do you actually know about our Climate issues. No doubt you have heard about the issues of CO2 and the needs of our biodiversity both above and below ground. You will most likely of heard of our need to reduce our carbon emissions to zero, reduce waste and start to be more sustainable. No doubt you have seen direct action groups causing problems but do you really understand why they do what they do.
All of this good and right but how deeply do you understand the issues that underpin the fact that the world is in a serious trouble. Do you know what exactly the issues are and whats needed. We doubt that in a large majority of us have no idea. This whole concept has been designed to help people truely understand the issues, then show them in real time solutions around the subjects of re-making, circular business, and developing personal responsibility from this realisation.
To achieve these goals we have had to look at how we as humans learn. This is what this section is all about. Defining the act of human learning. True human learning has been dumbed down by a politcially lead idiology that in todays world does not work. It have have served the needs during the industrial revolution but today we are also going through a massive technological revolution. In the past most people would have a job for life. Today however the whole structure of how we work is shifting under our feet. We need to find new ways that allow all of us to develop themselves but also to allow different people with vary skills and intelligence to work together
It is for this reason we have spent alot of time understanding and learning about how to develop personal intelligences and at the same time how to create groups of varing skills to solve complicated problems.
